Nike unveals new ‘Air’ for 2019.
The brand is unveiling a new Nike Air range of sneakers that combine all the signature features of the iconic Nike Air Max 1 with the performance and versatility of Nike Air Zoom.
The Air Max X, which will debut this fall, is a slim, mid-weight sneaker with a low profile that blends into a shoe of a lighter size.
The Zoom model, which is due out in spring 2019, is slightly thicker and longer than the original Air Max, but with the same lightweight, supportive fit.
Nike also introduced the Air Max II, a mid-size sneaker that will be released in 2019.
It features the same streamlined design of the AirMax X, but Nike says the Zoom model will be the “ultimate sneaker for everyday comfort.”
The AirMax II will be available in white and black, and will be offered in Nike’s new ‘Ultra Boost’ colorway.
On Thursday, Nike announced that it had sold over 3.5 million of the new Air Max models, bringing its total of sales to nearly 12 million.
The new Air models will debut in Nike Sportswear, Nike’s range of athletic wear and apparel, on Jan. 7, 2019.
